With September right around the corner, and Fall quickly moving in, our days will become a little more busy! Between the kids heading back to school, traffic getting busier again making our commute a little less relaxed and the ramping up of winter prep for home and garden, it’s hard to pause and enjoy the change of season. Fall clean up for the garden happens in stages. What you do in September is different from October and November. Luckily, we’ve put together a handy to do list for your fall clean up. Don’t you just love it when someone else takes the time to help you get organized? Here it is…

* Fertilize
* Pull weeds
* Trim

* Sprinkle garden beds with compost or manure
* Trim back herbs, tie with twine and hang upside down to dry for

Where did the summer go? It seems the older we get, the faster time passes us by. All the more reason to savor each and every moment! Soon, the kids will be heading back to school, the leaves will begin to change, and the pace of life will pick up a little quicker.

Now is the time to start thinking about fall programs for the kids (and the grown-ups too!).

The Town of Georgina has a phenomenal Department of Recreation and Culture. It provides programming information and links for everything from theatres, parks, arenas, recreational facilities as well as “leisure based recreation programming and cultural services.”
