IT'S CANADA'S 150th BIRTHDAY!

And to celebrate this glorious event, everyone in Canada has been given a 150 pass, which gets you free admission to every national park in the country. However, make sure you're getting out the door as early as possible though. Those parks will fill up fast this year, and I've personally been turned away once already at the Bruce Peninsula National Park. So make it out early!

Spending time in our lovely home of Georgina this weekend? Make sure you stop by the ROC this Saturday, July 1st. They will be hosting so many family friendly activities this year. Canada's own Urban Slide will be propped up and ready for

Where did the summer go? It seems the older we get, the faster time passes us by. All the more reason to savor each and every moment! Soon, the kids will be heading back to school, the leaves will begin to change, and the pace of life will pick up a little quicker.

Now is the time to start thinking about fall programs for the kids (and the grown-ups too!).

The Town of Georgina has a phenomenal Department of Recreation and Culture. It provides programming information and links for everything from theatres, parks, arenas, recreational facilities as well as “leisure based recreation programming and cultural services.”
